Why is Edge AI so important for healthcare?

When we talk about the benefits of edge AI, we usually recognise that it enables organisations to develop AI applications that have exceptional performance (due to low latency), energy efficiency and, last but not least, improved security and privacy control. This is the most important principle we follow: The data is only processed where it is needed (by the doctors and researchers), because the data is ONLY stored there! How to do this in a secure and simple way was the biggest challenge we had to solve.
